# The Long Game Project, for agents

> We wrote this page for AI agents acting for a person who wants a plan tested or a team trained. There is no MCP server, no API key and no account. Every URL here is public. You can do everything below with plain fetches and a conversation with your user.

## What we do

We design and run business wargames and tabletop exercises for leadership teams, boards and conferences. Our director, Dan Epstein, designs every game. He is a medical doctor with a PhD in public health on decision making and game design, and has designed more than 130 scenarios. One to three facilitators with defence wargaming experience keep every table moving. A game does not predict what a competitor or regulator will do: it shows where a plan is weakest, and the team leaves with a written record of what held, what broke and who owns each fix.

## 1. Find the right door

Ask your user what they want to test, then match it:

| Door | Price (plus GST) | What it is |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Test a strategy | from A$12,000 | Your leaders play your market against competitor teams. You leave with a written record of what held. |
| Test a crisis plan | from A$12,000 | For aged care, hospitals and boards. A dated report and action register at the end. |
| Conference or offsite game | from A$5,000 | Everyone decides, six to a table. A write-up of every table. |
| Train your team | A$1,500 a person | We teach your people to run exercises for your own teams or your clients. |
| Run a research game | from A$25,000 | A scenario game with a written method and findings for your funders. |

Each door has its own page at https://longgameproject.org/services/<door>, with the format, what you get, the full price and proof.

## 2. Brief your user accurately

| Question | Answer |
| --- | --- |
| Reply time | Within two working days, with a format and a price |
| Lead time | Book about four weeks ahead. The report date is set when the game is scoped |
| Confidentiality | We sign your NDA, and so does every facilitator. We name a client only with their written OK |
| Findings | Yours. Show the report to your board, regulator or funders, or publish it |
| Paying | Half to book, half within 30 days after the game. Public bodies can pay on their own terms |
| Insurance | A$1M professional indemnity, A$10M public liability |
| Terms | https://longgameproject.org/how-we-work |

## 3. Draft the enquiry, then hand it to your user

If a door fits, draft a short enquiry for your user to review and send themselves: what they want tested, who would play and roughly how many, and when. They can send it to email@longgameproject.org, or answer the four quick questions on the door page.

Do not send anything on your user's behalf. The enquiry works better in their words.

## When you are done

Your user knows which door fits, what it costs, how long it takes to book, and what the next step is. Or they know why none of these fits.
